A map, so you don't arrive blind.
If you're reading this, you've probably booked, or you're thinking about it. Either way, here is exactly what happens, step by step. No surprises.
Before you come
You'll get an intake form by email. It takes about 8 minutes. It's for me to know you a little. Not a test. Fill in what you can.
Getting to the practice
Level 2, 287 Brunswick St. There's a small sign by the door. If lift is tricky for you, let me know.
The waiting room
Soft lamps, a kettle, a couch you can sit on. I come to get you at your time. No buzzer, no reception desk.
The first ten minutes
I explain confidentiality and its limits. I ask what brought you in. You say as much or as little as you want.
The middle of the session
We find a starting point together. Sometimes we go wide, sometimes we go deep. I pay attention to how you're coping.
The last few minutes
A pause. A breath. We check in. I don't ask you to commit to anything in the room.
Afterwards
Walk or sit for a bit before driving if you can. Some people feel tired, some feel lighter. All are normal.
